IRRESPONSIBLE BREEDERS.....   Animal shelters are overrun with dogs produced by irresponsible breeders. The best interest of dog/puppies will always take a back seat if the motive for puppy raising is profit! Many have very serious health and or emotional issues and require much time, care and most often a lot of money to care for them. By paying for a puppy from a unregistered or unethical breeders who don't take proper care of their animals, you are just encouraging them to continue.

                   **RED FLAG WARNINGS**                                   Are they selling puppies under 12 weeks of age?                       Is breeder selling more then one breed of dogs?                      

Are puppies brought in from another state?                            Buy local WA. puppies unless you really trust the breeder!       Are puppies kenneled or raised in the backyard?             

Are you able to see how they are raised & the parents               Is the breeder knowledgeable of the breed & available as a resource for the life of the puppy?                 

Price under $1000.00 - How much is invested in their puppies care and health of the adults?                                   

Are the adults & litters registered with AKC ? (insuring they are purebred Yorkie)                                                                           Are puppies vaccinated, wormed & have a Veterinarian health exam?                                                                                                

Are they advertising: micro, tea-cup, adult weight or size?         Is the breeder Licensed/inspected by the federal government (USDA)  ....a commercial breeder?....(many dogs)

Do breeders offer...PAY by - PayPal, Mastercard or Visa? These breeders are not concerned where their puppies go  ....just about getting their money!

 Many times the "good price or good deal" you may get can cost you much more in the long run....money and heartache!

  AKC Strict registration rules guarantees purebred dogs. Not all registries do! AKC is the only purebred registry in the US with ongoing routine inspections of registered dogs to insure the proper care and conditions of dogs & puppies. Membership is compromised of approx. 500 dog clubs throughout the US, including YTCA.      

Yorkshire Terrier Club of America (YTCA) states the following:                      All puppies leaving the breeders possession will be a minimum of 12 weeks of age to facilitate adequate socialization as well as emotional and temperament development through interactions with siblings, dam and other dogs.

Our adults and puppies litters are all registered with AKC and stay with us a minimum of 14 1/2 weeks.                           

We do not sell consigned, to pet stores, agents or irresponsible breeders!

Our puppies are sold on an AKC limited Registration Contract...meaning they are to be spayed/neutered - - PET HOMES ONLY!                                                          

 We REQUIRE A $200. non-refundable DEPOSIT to encourage a commitment and hold a puppy for you.        

Our Contract GUARANTEES any genetic defects.

POTENTIAL NEW PARENTS WILL BE SCREENED to insure the best placements of our little ones.

We work to help new parents prepare to bring their new little one home..giving them MUCH INFORMATION on the care, training etc. and RECOMMENDATIONS for products we use.

When they are ready we pack a "PUPPY KIT" we make up for that specific puppy.... all this helps to make the transition to their new home more smoother.
